The purpose of the Iowa Master Gardener Program is to provide current, research-based home horticulture information and education to the citizens of Iowa through approved ISU Extension programs and projects.

Through participation in educational activities, Master Gardeners also increase their personal knowledge in horticulture.

Greene County Master Gardener Club Goals:

• Educate the community with science-based horticultural principles.
• Provide assistance in initial planning, and design, and information for ongoing maintenance.
• Present horticulture programs for the community.
• Exchange ideas.
• Socialize with people who really like to garden.
