HSB Donation

The Greene County Community Foundation (GCCF) wrapped up its third year of operation with a very successful direct mail campaign in 2007.  $8,8000 was contributed by 50 Greene County individuals and businesses to the foundation’s permanent endowment.  Home State Bank donated $1,000 and in the photo above bank president, Doug McDermott, left, is pictured presenting that amount.  Members of the volunteer foundation board pictured are from right: Bill Monroe of Jefferson, marketing committee chair; Jacque Andrew of Jefferson, president of the board and Chris Wilbeck of Rippey, leader of the direct mail campaign team.  The board is comprised of over 30 individuals from all communities in Greene County.

Parade Picture

Greene County Community Foundation grant recipients and board members participate in the 2006 Bell Tower Parade by carrying a banner, signs, and passing out fortune cookies with the message, "Dreams Come True in Greene County - Greene County Community Foundation."

Thanks to the marketing committee for making it happen!
