Greenbrier Basketball Tournament Sunday, March 11 at the Scranton Gym

The Greenbrier 4-H club will be hosting their Annual Greene County 4-H Basketball Tournament on Sunday, March 11 at the Scranton Gym. The club asks that each team bring their own basketball to play and warm up with. If you are interested and would like to register for the tournament; contact Linda Hedges at (515)-386-4740.

Parent-Child Cell Phone Debate Continues

Parents can exert a measure of control over their child’s mobile phone use by limiting use, checking its contents and using it to monitor the whereabouts of their offspring. However, with a few exceptions, these activities by parents do not seem to impact patterns of cell phone use by teens, according to Iowa State University Extension and Outreach family life specialists.
