February 20, 2015

Alliant Energy and Iowa DNR are sponsoring The Operation ReLeaf Residential Tree Program in Jefferson, IA. Each person is allowed to purchase 2 trees and they choose from eleven different varietites. Trees must be picked up on April 18 between 9:00 am and 11:00 am at the Greene County Fair Groudns. Click here for more information!

Greene County Master Gardeners will sponsor a "Make & Take" hands-on workshop on creating fairy gardens on Thursday, February 12th, 7:00 pm, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson.

Greene County Community Foundation grant applications for 2015 are now available online through the Extension webpage or pick up a copy at the Extension Office. Applications are due in the Extension Office by 4:30 pm on Thursday, February 12th, 2015.

January 13, 2015

Greene County Extension will be CLOSED on Monday, January 19th, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day. Our office will re-open Tuesday, January 20th at 8AM.
