The Master Gardeners are again bringing Greene County an outstanding guest for their annual public presentation to take place on Thursday, March 12th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson.  Nicole Jonas of Red Granite Farm will talk about her family’s 5-acre farm where they produce vegetables, fruits, and perennial plants. Alliant Energy and Iowa DNR are sponsoring The Operation ReLeaf Residential Tree Program in Jefferson, IA. Each person is allowed to purchase 2 trees and they choose from eleven different varietites. Trees must be picked up on April 18 between 9:00 am and 11:00 am at the Greene County Fair Groudns. Click here for more information!
