Greene County Community Foundation grant applications for 2015 are now available online through the Extension webpage or pick up a copy at the Extension Office. Applications are due in the Extension Office by 4:30 pm on Thursday, February 12th, 2015.

Project Completion Evaluation Forms for 2014 GCCF grant recipients are due January 31, 2015. An electronic copy of the form is avaialble at http://www.extension.iastate.edu/greene/GCCF. Completed forms and supporting documents should be sent to the Greene County Extension Office. Please contact Laura Ballard at the Extension Office with questions.

Greene County Extension will be CLOSED on Monday, January 19th, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day. Our office will re-open Tuesday, January 20th at 8AM.

Commercial manure applicators should plan to attend the Commercial Manure Applicator training program scheduled for Jan. 13, 2015, from 9 a.m. to noon. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, in cooperation with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR), will conduct the required three-hour training workshop. There is no fee to attend the workshop, but commercial applicators should register by contacting the ISU Extension Greene County office at 515-386-2138. This training is rescheduled due to winter weather!
