“Farm Energy: How Much Energy Is Being Used on Your Farm?” (PM 2089A), is available to download from the ISU Extension Online Store. The publication offers initial steps that help farmers analyze their farm energy use.

Program will provide information and recommendations on new products available for crop production. Each meeting is approved for Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) credits and for recertification for Iowa Commercial Pesticide Applicators in categories 1A, 1B, 1C and 10.
Iowa Learning Farm Hosts Strip-Till Field Day in Emmetsburg

The Iowa Learning Farm will host a strip-till field day at Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg, on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The field day will allow farmers to see strip-tillage equipment in action from several suppliers and hear from educators and experienced farmers who have been practicing strip-tillage.
Iowa-Minnesota Drainage Research Forum in Ames Nov. 10
