Beyond Essentials: GIS for Community Development.
This two day course brings together the multiple dimensions of commmunity development for mapping and analysis. Data and data sources explored include economic, social, workforce, retail, utilities, transportation, and environmental. A primary goal is the production of making information visual, and, utilizing GIS data and analysis for decision-making in community development.
