Beyond Essential: Cartography
This one-day course builds upon the essential cartography course by introducing cartographic representations and advanced labeling techniques. Utilizing representations, users can store a feature’s symbology in the geodatabase and edit the appearance of individual features on the map without disturbing the geometry of the data.
Participants will learn how to:

Develop representation rules and geometric effects

Display geometry based on scale ranges

Reduce manual label editing time
