Citizenship Washington Focus

Citizenship Washington Focus is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

In Fremont County, a trip is organized for it's senior 4-H members every 3 years.  Because of the high value and low cost for participants, the requirements to attend are quite rigorous.  They are as follows:

  • Must be a senior 4-H member and completed 10th, 11th or 12th grades as of travel dates.
  • Must be an active FREMONT COUNTY 4-H member for at least three years prior to trip and the CWF travel year.  Special circumstances will be considered on an individual basis.
  • Must submit Record Book for at least three years prior to trip, and the CWF travel year.
  • Must enroll and present citizenship project at Fremont County Fair immediately following participation in CWF.
  • Must participate in fundraisers such as the cherry pie auction, fair food stand, rodeo ice cream stand, and any other planned fundraiser for CWF that may arise for at least three years prior to trip, and the CWF travel year.
  • Must participate in fair and club activities as much as possible for at least three years prior to trip, and the CWF travel year.
  • Must attend at least 70% CWF training sessions in the year prior to the travel dates.
