What does your county use for software (FileMaker, Excel, etc.) for entries and show bills for county fair? Does Open Class use the same software/set-up as 4-H in your county? Would apprecitate any input.

Cherokee County uses Excel spreadsheets for livestock show class sheets. The spreadsheet can then be "saved as" and edited to make a program to hand out at the show by removing the grid lines and ribbon placing columns and reducing font and line heights.

Jackson County does not use any sort of software. Another Fair I work with used the Blue Ribbon Program (Fair Management), its a good program, but I haven't been too impressed with online entries so far.
I've been able to find two fair software management companies: ShoWorks and Martech (Blue ribbon Fair Management).
On the surface it appears to me ShoWorks is ahead in view of their ipad data entry and on-line entry system.
Does anyone have experience with either or both these systems?
Which do you like best?
Thank you.

Webster County uses Blue Ribbon Fair Management.
Louisa County 4-H/FFA uses Excel for show programs and premium tallies.
Shelby County uses FileMaker. I believe the fair board uses FileMaker for their static exhibits, but not the livestock shows.
We've built a database system we use in FileMaker Pro - works Excellent!!
Black Hawk County uses ShoWorks. This will be our second year for the program. I have posted comments regarding it on the Connect tab of 4-H Online.
Boone County uses File maker pro databases for livestock and static.

Lyon County will be using Showorks for the 2nd yr this summer. Lyon does not have any open shows.
Harrison County uses Filemaker for animal entries and show bills. We do not use it for static 4-H exhibits. We don't have any open class animals.
We do not use any fair entry program, just use Excel spreadsheet
Buchanan County uses Fair Management - it works really well for us. We don't have any open classes at our county fair.
Carroll County uses Excel as our shows are not that big.
