Wow! That was close ... The turkey was entering the TDZ. Let's hope they can save Cooker's Thanksgiving meal.
Cooker and Faren tell Art that he should thaw turkey in a sink under cold (below 70°F) running water. Art needs to put the turkey in a pan so that the running water will thaw all sides of the turkey. This ensures bacterial growth on the outside is minimized while inner areas are still thawing.
Cooker reminds Faren to make sure the drain on the sink is unplugged, and that the sink is cleaned and sanitized to avoid cross contamination.
