FSQA Trainings

Food Safety and Quality Assurance training is required  for all 4-H exhibitors  showing Beef, Swine, Sheep, Dairy, Dairy and Meat Goats, Poultry, Rabbits, and Bucket Bottle Calves.  This certification may be obtained by attending a yearly class (4th-12th grades) or testing (7th-12th grades).  Trainings will be offered 2 times this year for Floyd County:  Saturday, March 16 from 9am-10:30am at the Fossil & Prairie Center in Rockford OR Saturday, April  20 from 9am-10:30am at the Extension office.  Testing may be done by scheduling an appointment at the Extension office.  All FSQA must be taken care of by Fair Entry Deadline, June 14.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office at 641-228-1453.
