Marshmallow catapult challenge will have participants build a catapult to launch marshmallows and measure distances with Jay Cutler, event leader.  Scheduled for Wed., Dec. 30th from 9-11 am at the Floyd County Extension office for 4-5th graders.  Cost is $5.00 - space is limited!

When the snow flakes fly, some birds head south.  But some are tough enough to stick out an Iowa winter.  Come discover how they stay warm and well fed when our backyards turn snowy white.  Two sessions on Tuesday, Dec 29th at the Floyd County Extension Office.

Families Making Connections, Floyd County ISU Extension and Outreach and The Family Dinner Project are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity this fall for families with children ages 0-10 years old at the Zion Lutheran Church in Rockford.  Because of the bad weather on Nov. 30th this program was postponed.
