Mini 4-H is a new afterschool program starting this fall for youth in 3rd-4th grade.  This program is designed to help youth transistion into the 4-H club program.  We will be meeting in Charles City on Nov 1, Jan 31, & May 2 and in Rockford on Nov 7, Feb 6, and May 8.

Have you ever wondered what  4-H is all about?  Well here is your chance to find out.    The Floyd County 4-H program will be hosting a 4-H Family Harvest Party on Sunday, October 9th from 5-7 pm at the Borlaug Learning Center near Nashua.

Kindergarten - 3rd graders - join us for our first Clover Kids event for this school year as we explore the science behind the mystery of fall and the changing of leaves into many bright colors.

The Record Book Conference Judging will be held at the Floyd County Extension office on Thursday, September 8; Monday, September 12; or Tuesday, September 13 from 5-7 pm.  Please pick one of the 3 dates that work best for you.

    Every June, 1000 teenagers converge on the Iowa State University campus for 3 days of speakers, workshops, mixers, dances, a banquet, and community service activities. If you've completed 8th-12th grade, you're eligible to attend. Non-4-H members are welcome.

  • Provides opportunities for youth to demonstrate, learn and apply project and communication skills. Every year the 4-H Exhibits Building features well over 3,000 exhibits and Livestock shows engage more than ## youth.
