Safety

You must make sure that you make safety a high priority any time you go fishing.  Some rules to remember:

1. Never fish alone.  Fish with an adult helper.
2. Fish hooks, some tackle, and filet knives can be dangerous. Treat them with care.
3. Take a first aid kit with you.
4. Let others know where you and your helper are fishing and when you are expected back.
