  1. Develop a poster on the fishing code of ethics.
  2. Make a display on the different types of rod and reel  combinations.
  3. Conduct a study on your county or townships fishing areas showing where they are located and what fish lives where.
  4. Design lures that mimic aquatic insects that fish eat.
  5. Study how farm ponds are managed for largemouth bass or channel catfish.
  6. Conduct a working exhibit on how to get a pole ready for fishing.<
  7. Develop a presentation on Iowa's Fishing Past and Present.
  8. Study the watershed where you live to see how it is affecting the fish population in your local streams and ponds.
  9. Design a presentation on Fishing First Aide and give it to your club.
  10. Help out at a local county conservation board fishing clinic.
