Iowa State University Extension offers "Planning to $tay Ahead", a personal financial management class for individuals who have filed for bankruptcy. The class is two hours in length and is offered in many locations across the state of Iowa at a cost of $20 per individual or household, inclusive of class materials.
Dates, times and locations are listed below. Call the listed phone number of the ISU County Extension Office at least 48 hours before the class to register. You will receive information about the specific location of the classroom at that time. Upon completion of the class, ISU Extension will provide a certificate of course completion.
All ISU Extension educators have B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. degrees and extensive experience in adult education. This course is offered without regard to a debtor student's ability to pay. ISU Extension does not pay or receive fees or other consideration for the referral of debtor students to or by the Provider.
