Iowa State University Extension offers "Planning to $tay Ahead", a personal financial management class for individuals who have filed for bankruptcy. The class is two hours in length and is offered in many locations across the state of Iowa at a cost of $20 per individual or household, inclusive of class materials. Upon completion of the class, ISU Extension will provide a certificate of course completion.
All ISU Extension educators have B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. degrees and extensive experience in adult education. This course is offered without regard to a debtor student's ability to pay. ISU Extension does not pay or receive fees or other consideration for the referral of debtor students to the class.
