Iowa MarketReady Training is for local food producers (fruit, vegetable, meat, dairy, eggs and value-added products) who currently sell their products direct to consumers (farmers’ markets, CSA, roadside stands, etc) and are looking to scale up to wholesale marketing to restaurants, grocery stores, and institutions.

Interested in learning how to create your own seasonal wreath for the upcoming fall holidays?  The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach office in Fayette is offering a workshop for you to do that and take home the finished product to display or share with others.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, November 14 from 9:30-11 am at their new office at 218 South Main Street in Fayette.

The 29th Annual Tri-State Agriculture Lender’s Seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 28 in Dubuque, Iowa.  This year’s focus is on market outlooks for livestock, grains and dairy along with the issues of crop cash rents, dairy beef, and organic dairying.
