The Beginning Farmer Center conducts programs for farmers who want to transition their farm business to the next generation or people who want to get into farming. Watch this short video on the next generation of farmers in Iowa.

The Agricultural Marketing Resource Center and Value-Added Agriculture program offer a multitude of resources for producers looking to market their crops and livestock. 

The Ag Decision Maker Web site provides agricultural economics and business news for producers to use in making management decisions.

Central Iowa Crop Weather and Market Outlook Meetings in June

Crop and livestock producers can learn about issues and strategies to prepare for fall by attending informational meetings hosted by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Crop weather and market outlook meetings will be held at five locations the last week of June; there is no charge to attend.
Harvesting Corn Stover Is Topic of Hubbard Meeting July 9

New opportunities exist for harvesting corn stover in support of central Iowa cellulosic ethanol plant biomass feedstock needs. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will host a meeting at the Hubbard Golf and Recreation Club on July 9 to address emerging stover harvest opportunities.
