Raising Healthy Kids
The prevalence of overweight among American youth has become an epidemic. The number of overweight children (ages 6-11) has almost quadrupled in the past four decades and for adolescents (12-19) has tripled. Raising Healthy Kids is designed to help parents, communities, and childcare providers address these topics.
Nutrition Education - EFNEP, FNP & Loving Your Family-IA
Families find it challenging to choose and prepare healthy foods within a limited budget. The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), Family Nutrition Program (FNP), and Loving Your Family-IA help families learn to make informed choices about low-cost, nutritious foods; to better manage family finances; and to become more self-sufficient.

Information on the role of nutrition in physical performance for the recreational athlete, competitive athlete, coaches, trainers or anyone interested in improving their overall health through nutrition and exercise.
