The annual carnival and awards night were held November 23, 2008 in Estherville. The evening began with a carnival provided by 4-H clubs and the county council followed by the awards program at 7:00 p.m.
The evening provided recognition to outstanding Emmet County 4-H’ers in various project areas. We also recognized Alumni and Honorary Members and donors to the Emmet County 4-H Fund Foundation. The new 2008-2009 County Council members were also inducted that evening.
Honorary Awards went to Deb Hoffmeyer and Connie Hopper for their many hours of volunteer service to the 4-H program.
4-H Alumni Award recognized Bob Burt and Phyllis Martens for their many hours of volunteer service to the 4-H program.
The Emmet County 4-H program thanks these recipients for their dedication to the Emmet County 4-H program.
