Choices: 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk ($15.00) 4 Mile Relay ($60 for team of 4) 5K Race ($25.00) will be held at the Emmet County Fairgrounds
What’s Included: T-Shirt and 1 Glow Item More glow items will be for sale at the event. Everyone should come dressed up to glow!
Fundraiser Meal from 6:00-8:30PM   $5.00, includes: Burger (Grilled by Emmet County Cattlemen) Chips, Bar, Beverage

David and Carol Solberg, of Ringsted, were inducted into the Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame on Sunday August 17th in a ceremony at the Iowa State Fair in the 4-H Exhibit building.  The Iowa 4-H Foundation sponsors the annual Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Iowa State Fair. Counties nominate volunteers, community leaders, and Extension staff members who have exemplified outstanding service and dedication to the 4-H youth program in their county. Only one individual or couple per county can be nominated each year. Inductees can be recognized posthumously.

Want to learn the fine art of canning, freezing and drying fruits and vegetables?  Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is offering a program that will benefit both beginning and experienced preservers.  Food Preservation 101 will be held Thursday, September 4 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Estherville Public Library.

Now is the time to enroll your family in the Strengthening Families Program. Estherville Lincoln Central Community School sixth-graders and their parents are invited to enroll in this free, program which consists of attending two-hour classes. During the weekly classes, the first hour consists of the parents and children working with separate facilitators and the second hour working with each other to discuss and practice what they have learned.
