When you need to make decisons that affect your family, community, business or farm, look to Iowa State University Extension for research-based information and education to help you make better decisions.

New 4-H Member Meeting for Tues., January 24th is postponed due to weather. It will be moved to Mon., March 6th at 5:30 pm.

Annual Leaders Training is moved to Mon., February 27th at 6:00 pm.

ISU Extension and Outreach, Emmet County is seeking individual to hire for seasonal work to assist with delivering 4-H and youth related programing. Applications are due February 28.

Childcare Provider Trainings are educational  opportunities for local childcare providers to    engage in group-based learning. At Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, we facilitate engaging and dynamic classes with research-based information you can trust.

Women Managing Crops is a four week session course designed for women of all ages and experience levels who want to know more about key agronomic decisions for corn and soybean production the sessions take a seasonal approach and cover decision making for pre-planting, the growing phase and harvest.

This program will be held on Tuesday’s from 9 am to noon starting March 21 and continuing until April 11 at Immaculate Conception Parish Center at 305 North Cameron Street in Graettinger. A light meal will be served at noon. The registration fee is $50.

The Downsizing for Senior Living program will be an opportunity for individual to learn about the “Top Ten Tips for Downsizing.” This free program will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 2 pm at Windsor Manor 2015 3rd Ave. North in Estherville and is free for all participants. 
 
Part Two of Downsizing for Senior Living will be held on Thursday, April 20 at 2 pm at Windsor Manor. This free session will focus on downsizing paperwork and files.
