Shooting sports instructors are responsible for the overall coordination and management of the county/area 4-H shooting sports program. All-Iowa Hort Expo set for March 19 & 20, 2010

The Iowa State Horticultural Society (ISHS) will sponsor the All-Iowa Horticulture Exposition II (Expo) on March 19-20, 2010 at the Bridge View Center in Ottumwa. The ISHS will once again partner with Iowa State University Extension to coordinate the event. More information about the Expo appears on the Society’s website, www.iowahort.org.

As of May 2007, USDA Rural Development requires first-time homebuyers to complete education from a certified provider to qualify for the agency’s rural housing loans. Often rural residents have to drive many miles to attend homebuyer classes. The online course will be a convenient option for many Iowa residents.
