A World in Motion World in Motion

Youth in grades 4-6

A World in Motion is a fully integrated print and video program that emphasizes hands-on discovery of forces and simple machines in a cooperative learning setting. A World in Motion is dedicated to awakening in children a sense of wonder and excitement about the world in which they live and to creating in them an awareness that these interests can be channeled toward careers in science and engineering.

The program is divided into two phases:

Phase I

Phase II

A World in Motion is provided by SAE International an organization of engineers dedicated to advancing mobility on land, in sea, air and space. The curriculum packet is free and may be obtained by calling 1-800-457-2946.
