

Rockets Away! The Science of Motion
Youth in Grades 4-6
Blast off for an action-packed adventure in math, engineering, aerospace, and physics with this three-unit study of rocketry science. Lessons in motion, gravity, and aerodynamics send students' interest soaring. All lessons lead up to the ultimate thrill---building and launching their own 2-liter pop bottle rocket. The teacher manual comes complete with lesson plans. Launchers and optional IBM compatible computer diskettes can be ordered by visiting the Rockets Away! web site located at http://www.ag.ohio-state.edu/~rockets. Rockets Away! was developed by professional staff at The Ohio State University.
Rockets Away! kits including software, curriculum and launchers are available for check-out. There are kits located in each of the 5 extension areas.
