Workshop Objective: To provide teachers a tool that will create active learning environments through the use of engaging simulations and experiential activities.
Workshop Description: This interactive, day-long workshop is filled with exciting hands-on activities that demonstrate the use of simulations in any multidisciplinary K-12 classroom. Teachers will leave with the resources necessary to develop and use their own classroom simulations. They will also take with them a 150 page guide filled with helpful ideas. EdVentures in Simulations is a product of Challenger Center for Space Science Education.
Audience: Single subject and multidisciplinary K-12 teachers.
The workshop and teaching framework are flexible so that the model can be adapted to address multiple teaching and learning styles.
