Robotics is the way of the future that is here today. Robots do surgery, build cars, and assist us with our complex modern lives. This series is all about these amazing machines and learning to build and program your own robots to solve issues you face. Come check out this free program with brand new EV3 Robots!

Looking for something fun for your kids to do when they have days off of school? The Dubuque County Extension and Outreach office is offering fun hands on science based day programs open to all kids in Dubuque county. Each session will consist of a full day of learning with drop off beginning at 7:30 am and pick up by 5:30 pm. Kids will stay all day and need to bring a sack lunch and drink.

Please extend a warm welcome to Beth Oberhoffer, our new County Youth Coordinator.  Through community building, resource sharing, educational support, and outreach, Oberhoffer will be working to develop partnerships and provide resources and expertise for adult volunteers and youth through the 4-H Program. She will be directing the Dubuque County Youth Leaders and volunteers and provide guidance for their service in the community.

Betty Pins was inducted into the 2014 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame during a ceremony at the 4-H Exhibits Building at the Iowa State Fair on Sunday, Aug. 17. Betty served as a 4-H leader for 32 years. She and her sister-in-law started the Bankston Congenial Girls 4-H Club in 1967. She enjoyed watching her four daughters grow and learn as they participated in the 4-H program.
