Community Partners Unite to Educate Families about Options for Higher Education

"Juntos: Together for a Better Education" is a 6-session course that helps Latino families create educational goals and explore options for higher education.  The course will take place at Cascade High School starting October 5th. Each class includes a meal, childcare for younger siblings, and family-centered activities for 7th, 8th, 9th, or 10th grade students and their parents. This program is free for all participants.

Families participating in this program will learn about:

  • Being a champion for your teen
  • Making education a family goal
  • Succeeding in the current school system
  • Communicating with teachers and guidance counselors
  • Financing college and money matters
  • Getting ready for the application process
