Iowa Radiological Emergency Information brochures now available
The 2014 State of Iowa Radiological Emergency Information brochure provides emergency information for farmers, food processors, and food distributors located within 50 miles of Cooper Nuclear Power Station, Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Station, Duane Arnold Energy Center, or the Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station. This booklet contains information on actions you should take if there were accident with a release of radiation. The Information and emergency response procedures found in this booklet should be followed to protect your family, farm animals, and food products. In case of a radiological accident you will receive instructions from local, state, and federal authorities.
