Beverly Berna, Family Life Specialist, offers information, facilitation and programming regarding a range of topics related to families. Topics range from child to elderly care issues, from addressing stress to poverty, and from kindermusik to computers. Berna makes every topic enjoyable. Additionally Beverly is available to facilitate groups who are interested in the needs of children, youth and families. In the past, Beverly has worked closely with the Search Insitute to implement a needs assessment of youth in Dubuque County. The results were used to access grant funds for a number of local initiatives. Most noteable is the Ameri-Corps program in Dubuque County.
