Money Smart Ag Conference will be on Tuesday, February 10, from 9 am – 2 pm, at Tama Hall, Hawkeye Community College, 1501 E. Orange Road in Waterloo.   Nationally-recognized professionals will present on a wide variety of topics including business transitions for farm families, state and federal ag loan and tax credit programs, agriculture estate planning, your farm’s enterprise value, crop insurance, Farm Bill, fence laws, eminent domain, investing, mobile farm record keeping and business transitions for farm families.

Organic dairy now consumes around 5% of the milk market, a movement that started with some humble beginnings in Wisconsin by a group of dairy producers and interested others who had a dream of marketing organic milk. Today that dream is realized and organic dairy production has become an avenue to increase profit that more producers might consider utilizing.

Iowa dairy producers have the opportunity to learn about emerging dairy industry issues at the 2015 ISU Extension Dairy Days hosted by Iowa State University Extension specialists. The program will be held on February 4th at Neumann's in Holy Cross in Dubuque County.
