Practical Farmers of Iowa and the Dubuque Food Co-op with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach - Dubuque County, will host a play tackling the critical issue of farmland transfer and a follow-up workshop that will help farmland owners write a letter about what matters most to them about their farmland and their legacy. The play will be Thursday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. at Shalom Spirituality Center. The workshop will take place the next day, Friday, March 27, 9 am-4 pm at the Dubuque County Extension Office.

do some pruning. There are several techniques and practices to choose from. Learn about basic
pruning practices, including tools needed and basic equipment while gaining hands-on experience.

Looking for something fun for your kids to do when they have days off of school? The Dubuque County Extension and Outreach office is offering fun hands on science based day programs open to all kids in Dubuque county. Each session will consist of a full day of learning with drop off beginning at 7:30 am and pick up by 5:30 pm. Kids will stay all day and need to bring a sack lunch and drink.
