The Iowa Gypsy Moth Management Team will be conducting a public meeting at EB Lyons Nature Center in Dubuque to discuss gypsy moth management actions for summer 2013. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Maquoketa and Elkader will be hosting Cover Crop Field Day tours to showcase the success local farmers have had using cover crops in our region.  Each cover crop field day will include discussions and presentations including area-specific topics such as: no-tillage/strip-tillage systems, rotational grazing or grazing cover crops for livestock feed, soil and nutrient management benefits of cover crops and spring management for cover crops
