The Babysitter - ™s Training Program Helps Youth Learn To: ï‚· Care for children and infants. ï‚· Be a good leader and role model. ï‚· Make good decisions and solve problems. ï‚· Keep the children and the babysitter safe. ï‚· Handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents. ï‚· Write resumes and interview for jobs. The registration cost for the program is $25. Program Scholarships are available for those in need. Registration and payment needs to be turned into the Extension & Outreach Office one week in advance of the training to ensure enough materials. The registration fee provides participants with a full-color handbook, emergency reference guide, first aid kit, CD-ROM with additional information and resources, morning and afternoon snacks and lunch, and Red Cross Babysitter Training Certificate.
