Increase your child's school readiness skills with these 6 FREE Family Storyteller Workshops!  ISU-Dickinson County Extension is partnering with the Lake Park Library and the Harris-Lake Park Schools to provide fun nights for preschool age children and their families to spend time together in literacy activities. Thanks to support from the Dickinson County Endowment Fund.... the program is FREE and includes refreshments, childcare, and take home books & activity packets. Program dates are Thursday nights March 26 - April 30 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Check out the Family Storyteller Brochure for details or call the Extension Office at 712-336-3488.

Are you interested in improving the quality of your child care program? Infant & Toddler Environment Rating Scales (ITERS) are nationally recognized tools to assess and improve the quality of early child care programs. The training series is four, 2-hour workshops from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Extension Office in Spirit Lake. The dates are April 7, 21, and May 12, 26. Sessions are fun, interactive and hands-on.
