05/17/2008- Iowa Master Conservationist
Participants receive at least 32 hours of hands-on education. Sessions include: Sustainable agriculture and land use, physical environment, wildlife diversity, ecological principles, woodlands, prairies and grasslands, wetlands and waterways, and energy use and waste reduction.

06/03/2008- Canner Testing
Pessure canner testing will be available every Tuesday at ISU Dickinson Co. between the hours of 1-3pm beginning June 3rd-Sept.30th. The testing will be held at the Extension Office which is located in the Expo Building. There will be no charge for this service. Due to the fair there will be no testing done next Tuesday. 01/14/2009- 2009 Crop Advantage Series
The Crop Advantage Series of meetings is designed for producers and agribusinesses. They offer research-based information to help producers make sound management decisions for the 2009 growing season. CCA credits and PRIVATE pesticide applicator recertification will also be offered.
