We will be retinal scanning all Market beef that will be participating in the 4-H State Fair. Those 4-Hers planning to participate at AK-SAR-BEN will have to have their animal nose - printed and DNA sample pulled. FFA members planning to exhibit at the State Fair will also have to have a nose print taken and a DNA sample pulled. This must be done at our county's weigh-in date in December and the cost is $5.00 per head. No fresh tattoos at weigh– in, nor will the committee do this for you. Other information needed is you must have registration papers, Sire name and/or registration numbers. These papers will not be excepted after the weigh in date, so be sure to bring this information with you if you have any desire to show breed at the county or state fairs. 4-H member and parent must attend together to sign forms or HAVE A WAIVER FORM SIGNED AND BROUGHT TO WEIGH-IN.
