05/15/2008- Animal Identification Forms Due
All animals must be identified at the extension office by May 15th in order to show at the Des Moines County Fair.

05/19/2008- Mandatory Horse Workshop
All 4-H members planning to show thier horse at the Des Moines County Fair must attend the mandatory horse workshop at SCC on May 19th.

06/04/2008- Mandatory Dog Workshop
All 4-H members planning to show thier dog at the Des Moines County Fair must attend the mandatory dog workshop at the Extension Office on June 4th.

06/05/2008- 4-H Informational Open House
Everything you wanted to know about the Des Moines County Fair but were afraid to ask open house will be held at the Extension office on June 5th from 3 - 6:00 PM. If you have any questions about 4-H or the county fair requirements, paperwork and deadlines please stop in the office at this time to have your questions answered.

06/07/2008- 4-H Junior Spring Camp
4-H Jr. Spring Camp is for 4-6 th grade 4-Hers. Camp will be held at the YMCA camp and will offer fishing, canoeing, swimming and low ropes course. Please register by May 30th.

06/18/2008- 4-H Intermediate Trip
4-H Intermediate Trip is for 7-9th graders. This years trip is to Minneapolis MN. Registration is due April 11th. Scholarships are available to help ofset the cost.
