12/01/2009- Fumigation CIC
The 2009 course will provide continuing instructional credit for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 7C (Fumigation) and 10 (Demonstration and Research). The course will cover topics such as safe application techniques; pests and pest management; and pesticides and pesticide labels.

12/19/2009- Delaware County Fair Market Beef Weigh-In
FFA and 4-H members planning to exhibit market steers and market heifers at the 2010 Delaware County Fair must weigh in those animals. All market beef exhibits to be shown in the state fair must be verified by retinal imaging.

12/29/2009- 4-H New Officer Training
New 4-H Club Officer training. Includes skits and activities. Snowdate 12/30/09.

01/06/2010- GrowingOn 2010
3 hour meeting, with meal sponsored by Farm Credit Services of America in 19 different Iowa locations. Steve Johnson, ISU Extension will be presenting on Crop Market Outlook & Risk Management Strategies. All participants must notify their local FCSA Office or register on-line.

02/09/2010- Confinement Site Manure Applicator Training
Confinement site (private) manure applicator certification. Continuing education to maintain or begin certification as a confinement site manure applicator in Iowa. By attending the workshop, participants will learn about land application rules, manure agitation safety, and nutrient management issues.
