FSQA certification is a fact of life for beef, pork, dairy (cattle and goats), sheep, poultry, meat goats and rabbit exhibitors who wish to show at the Decatur County or Iowa State Fair in 2008.
Two certification training sessions are scheduled for junior project members (9-11 years of age as of January 1, 2008). These are separate training sessions from older members. Juniors must attend training as they have no test-out options.
For Intermediate and Senior age members (12 and older as of January 1, 2008) there will be review and "test out" sessions. Intermediates (12-14 years) who test out will avoid training requirements until they become seniors. Seniors (15 and older) who test out will be certified until they are out of 4-H.
