Discipline

Karen Hickman, Loving Guidance, Inc., will conduct the Becoming Brain Smart® workshop.  Participants will learn how to positively discipline children to yield lasting changes in behavior; help children use the problem solving part of their brain; and successfully discipline children while addressing each child’s social and emotional needs.

The intended audience for the Becoming Brain Smart® workshop is home visitors, child care providers, educators, and social and community workers.  If requested, certificates for continuing education credits will be given.

The Becoming Brain Smart® workshop is free.  It is paid for by ISU Extension in Page County and the Corner Counties Community Empowerment area.  Pre-registration is appreciated.  Call ISU Extension in Page County at 712-542-5171 or toll free at 877-596-7243.
