: 4-H Club Leader Training

: Learn by doing - is the 4-H slogan. So it is important to utilize experiential learning strategies which help young people learn and master new skills. At this required training, you will learn the basic principles of the Experiential Learning model, participate in fun hands-on learning experiences you can replicate in your clubs, and practice the reflect and apply questions that help youth learn from their experiences. You will receive a set of colorful cards on a key chain that contain the questions used in the Experiential Learning model. Mark your calendar to attend this face-to-face training Call 993-4281 or email Aleta@iastate.edu to preregister. This training is required for all leaders. Fair Books will be handed out at this meeting.
