05/15/2008- Better Kid Care: Improving Transition Times
Moving from place to place, activity to activity, is often filled with tears, screaming, and tantrums. Learn how you can smooth transitions to make them productive, fun times for children and stress free for adults.

05/19/2008- Strengthening Families
Strengthening Families is a 6 session program for families with children ages 10-14. The program works with parent and youth in small groups and then families in a total group. Parents learn to use love and limits while youth learn positive ways to deal with stress and practice how to avoid peer pressure and negaative behaviors. The program builds

05/19/2008- 4-H Dog Obedience Classes
This class will be held every Mondy night until county fair to help 4-H'ers teach their dog obedience. This will be taught by Paula and Steve Exline. Cost to be determined.

05/20/2008- Youth Committee Meeting
Regular Monthly Meeting of Dallas County Youth Committee.

05/21/2008- Babysitting Basics
A two session clinic that teaches you the basics and expectations of babysitting. Open to youth 5th grade and above.

06/02/2008- Universal Precautions/Exposure Control Planning
This class will fulfill the state licensing requirements for child care center, preschool and school age programs and for one hour of health and safety training for family child development home providers.

06/02/2008- Mandatory Child Abuse Reporter Training for Child Care Providers
This class fulfills the Mandatory Child Abuse Reporter Training licensing and registration requirements for center, preschool school age and child development home programs.

06/05/2008- Clover Kids
Two hour sessions that educate, entertain, and excite 2nd and 3rd grade youth. Topics include Pets and Animals, Making Healthy Food Choices, Theater, and Science.
