Family Storyteller is an early literacy program designed to increase the amount and quality of time children spend in literacy activities with a caring adult. 02/12/2012- Strengthening Families Program
Strengthening Families is designed to help families build strong relationships. Parents/caregivers learn to use love and limits in guiding their youth, in family communication, and in problem-solving. Youth learn to set goals, understand stress, and practice skills to deal with peer pressure.

02/13/2012- Family Nutrition Classes
Free family nutrition classes for families with children under the age of 10 or expecting. Learn ways to help picky eaters, add more fruits and vegetables, strenghten family relations, and make easy, affordable meals and snacks. Supper provided at 6 pm. Program is from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. 02/14/2012- Annie's Project
Annie's Project helps farm women learn about farm management skills in a comfortable setting. It is hands-on learning for women who are farm business partners. Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 4 and 10. Participants should be seated by 8:55 a.m. for the beginning of the program.

02/29/2012- Nutrition for Seniors with Nutrition & Health Specialist, Jody Gatewood
ISU Nutrition and Health Specialist, Jody Gatewood, will be speaking to the Waukee senior group, The Triad's, on nutrition for seniors. Everyone is welcome to attend.
