Parenting Together
Building relationships takes time and energy. Work on creating
opportunities for open communication with your partner so you can
be better parents to your children.
Week 1
Go for a brisk walk together 3 times this week. Talk over goals
you both set this year.
Week 2
Cook together at least once this week. Plan a menu you both enjoy,
make a grocery list, shop together. Be sure to include heart healthy
ingredients like fresh fruit and veggies.
Week 3
Take lessons together. Sign up for dance, tennis or music lessons
for a regular "date".
Week 4
Make a marriage checkup appointment with each other this week. Ask
each other “What was the best thing that happened to us as
a couple this past year?” Schedule another appointment for
December.
