family values and stimulate interaction between several generations.
Fathers play an important role in helping provide continuity and
fun in these family rituals. These activities are appropriate for
dads and kids of all ages.

Coloring Eggs for Spring Decoration?
Don't eat the hard-cooked eggs used as decoration or for 'hunting'.
Throw them away when you are done with them. Cooked eggs may not
safely remain at room temperature longer than 2 hours.
If you plan to eat the eggs, don't BOIL them--it makes them tough.
The American Egg Board recommends this method for Hard COOKING eggs
in the shell:
Place eggs in single layer in saucepan. Add enough tap water to
come at least 1 inch above the eggs. Cover. Quickly bring just to
boiling. Turn off heat. If necessary, remove pan from burner to
prevent further boiling. For hard-cooked eggs, let eggs stand, covered,
in the hot water about 15 minutes for large eggs, (12 minutes for
medium, 18 for extra large). Immediately run cold water over eggs
or place them in ice water until completely cooled. To remove shell,
crackle it by tapping gently all over. Roll egg between hand to
loosen shell. Peel, starting at large end. Hold egg under running
cold water or dip in bowl of water to help ease off shell.
