Let's Play!

Dads have an influence on their children’s peers as well. A father who is involved in his child’s life knows his children’s friends and interacts in positive ways with them.

All kids need:

  • To know they are cared about by others
  • To feel and believe they are capable and successful
  • To know that they are able to influence people and events
  • To practice helping others through their own generosity

Fun and stimulation
When dads show mutual acceptance and concern for his child and other’s, those children respond is positive ways. They are friendly, cooperative, trusting, loving to each other and the adults in their company.

Fathers are especially skilled at helping youth develop a sense of achievement by trying and teaching new things. Kids who have men in their life who help them feel successful become good problem solvers, motivated, persistent, creative and proud of their abilities.
