2008 National CYFAR Conference
Register for the 2008 CYFAR Conference, May 6-9, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas. With the vibrant backdrop of San Antonio, Texas, the CYFAR Conference will bring together the nation’s top experts in children, youth and family programs, as well as early adopters of the research behind those programs.Book now - early registration ($225) ends March 3, and goes up to $275 March 4.

Extension Grant Targets Rural, Urban Families
Iowa State University Extension is pleased to announce that Buena Vista County and Waterloo have been selected as the next CYFAR communities. The Sustainable Community Projects (SCP), the next round of CYFAR funded grant projects is to develop and deliver educational programs that equip limited resource families and youth who are at-risk for not meeting basic human needs with the skills they need to lead positive, productive, contributing lives.

New Communities Projects Reveal e-Portfolios
The CYFAR New Communities Project electronic portfolios feature the work of community-based projects in Davenport, Perry, and Sioux City. These e-portfolios supplement other evaluation methods in order to capture a rich, more complete picture of these community-based projects.
